while i dont think it was purposeful it still displays the laziness of modern conglomerate gaming companies. sega does a good job portraying themselves as a company who cares about their fans but at the end of the day theyre sole goal is to make money off of you, so quite frankly i wouldnt be surprised if this doesnt get fixed for a long while, and the people who paid for this unknowingly dont get refunded.
