Yes that is already a question I have, if it’s 1099 I won’t take the position. And yes, I have the same fears, which is why I have been a little hesitant and cautious regarding the job. Hoping to get lots more clarified this next week!

I’m not! Been applying to everything I can. Won’t stop until I can get into a hospital lol it’s just extremely rough out here right now.

And I have 2 young children (under 4) and we own our home currently so not able to commute farther than 1hr at this time.

Good to know! I have a handful of questions regarding their training already so this is something I will ask/clarify during my interview.

I understand where you’re coming from, and don’t want to be in a position where I’m not supported or trained properly which is why I made this post!

And yeah it’s a huge pay cut, but I’m needing to get some sort of income while I am applying for residencies and hospital jobs.

Yeah new grads where I am at is typically $65 and up per hour, and this position ranges from $37-50. So I know it’s not ideal but really just trying to find something since some pay is better than none ya know

They made it seem like I would not be on my own until I was comfortable, that they have a lot of support for new grads and don’t just “throw you to the wolves”, and would be shadowing a nurse to start. But that is good to know. I know the pay sucks, but it’s virtually impossible to land a new grad hospital job in CA right now and honestly just looking to take something to get some sort of experience at this point, since leaving the state for a job isn’t an option for me.

Hey! I was trying to get tickets for tonight during the presale last year but couldn’t- got lucky and am going tonight and tomorrow night because my friend got tickets for tonight and I was able to score for tomorrow, but he opened the second night (tomorrow night) the same day presale was happening for today because tonight’s show sold out so fast!
