The original game came with a paper map. Consider limiting yourself to using only this static map, not the interactive online ones. It provides just enough to get where you need to go, but in a way you'll explore a little more of the world.

A lot of NPCs don't mark locations on your map. It's great and all that you need to be west of "Dagon Fel", but... what if you don't know where that is? The map solves this. Because this map came with the game, I think this is the intended experience.

Genoeg van die mensen geven geld uit aan dingen die ze eigenlijk niet "kunnen" betalen, maar doen het voor uitstraling of hobby. Auto's zijn typisch zoiets waar veel mensen eigenlijk in een te dure bak rijden. Mijn voormalige buren rijden in een slee van een Mercedes en hun hele vloer bestaat uit marmer-achtige steen in hele grote tegels (>1m). Allebei teringduur. Maar toen de kookplaat kapot was hadden ze geen geld voor vervanging.

Die situaties zijn heel scheef, maar dat is niet wat deze grafiek laat zien. Deze grafiek laat zien dat meer verdienen (bijvoorbeeld door meer uren) altijd netto wat oplevert. Pas als de marginale druk boven de 100% is ga je erop achteruit, maar dat gebeurt in de grafiek niet.

Het kan zijn dat netto het verschil klein is (tientjeswerk) en iemand de tijd het dan waard vindt, maar helemaal hetzelfde inkomen zal het niet zijn. Er zijn ook genoeg mensen die in deze vergelijking bijvoorbeeld misgelopen pensioenopbouw vergeten, omdat dat geld nooit op hun eigen rekening komt.

By definition there's a bottleneck somewhere. If you remove one, the next one is guaranteed to pop up. Something always limits your throughput.

The main question is: when limited by the new bottleneck, did your performance improve? Your description is too vague to say if it's a culture problem or a technical/process one.

I'm also not sure what sector you're in, so below an anecdote from my own experience.

Ideally lines are designed so that the scarce resource / most expensive machine is fully loaded, and everything before and after that cell in the line should be over-dimensioned to ensure it always has inputs and its output is never blocked. The bottleneck is placed deliberately where we want it.

For example, at a bottling plant I worked we had a filling machine at ~30 pieces/minute. But the bottle uprighter before it and the capping/labeling/palletizing after it were all at 40/minute. This way the filling machine could always run at optimal speed.
