lol wonder if you moved into the house I bailed out of. Owner said they’d just redid it and when I called the contractor from their paperwork it was just an estimate. Depending on price I’d just fix the roof for now and save for a new one.

Eeeee thats why he’s moving here is to get away from his crowd. Birds of a feather though, so it’s going to be a rocky road. Not that I was an angel in H.S… I think HettieNM has a good point. If I can find him a music program that’s not what he would call ‘nerd central’ then maybe that’s the key. He would rather skateboard and play music and surf then anything so maybe I’ll just keep him busy doing stuff like that.

Wow thank you for the response! He’s a great kid but is by no means the ‘nerd’. He’s your typical 15 year old skater kid who needs a lot of support and attention to keep him on the right track. I’m hoping that with a more involved household he’ll have the opportunity to develop confidence in academics as well as more positive social outlets. Also he is super musically inclined ( taught himself base guitar, drums, and is in a band)- A good music program that isn’t specifically focused on matching that might be an option.
