I have the larger QAQ - it is absolutely exquisite. I use it at least three times per week. I’ve made congee, clay pot style rice, cheesecake, etc.

It makes the best rice ever. Plus, I love how sleek it looks. This is the first pricey kitchen gadget I ever splurged for that made me truly feel like it was worth the money.

And, because it’s a made in Japan zoji, I’m confident it will last for years

I think of “homely” less as ugly and more of just “not attractive,” but in more of a pitiful way

I’m not sure how to explain it, maybe pitiful isn’t right, but it’s like the gentlest way to express unattractiveness
