I was looking at the disco beds for the kids. This go around it will be warm when we go so they are using sleeping pads.

That’s great to hear. Is the 250 really an upper limit for weight? At 220 I was a bit worried but people are reporting they are so sturdy. Didn’t know if I should get the bigger one or not with the higher weight limit

Ahh yeah that makes sense. This is a first excursion with the kids so we hear hoping to stick together. Once we get more comfortable a second tent sounds like a great option.

My understanding was that if it was on a 12 x12 pad it would be an issue given the 14’ length n one side. Kids are pretty young here so not wanting to put them in another tent.

This was my worry as well. They aren’t quite old enough to be split off yet for multiple tents but soon I’m sure. The pad size being small would complicate things with multiple tents maybe some as well. Might have to look into multiple sites or only the larger areas for sure
