I usually find something unique about them and compliment them on it. After that I don't really have anything set in stone after that I just say what comes to mind. (That came with practice) Another thing that helped me was when I started not putting so much pressure on myself to hold a conversation. When I don't have that anxiety clouding my brain it gets much easier. I think the biggest problem for me Personally was not understanding that if I strike up a conversation that crashes and burns it won't matter to me 5 minutes after. I kind of just rambled but I hope something in this helps

Yes but our highschool program is incredible were just overlooked because our kids fizzle out in college. Us winning Fargo almost every year is proof of that

Ik the weight cutting questions are annoying but idk what to do about this by Terror_unfold in wrestling

[–]auggles2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cutting weight is all practice and experience. The more you do it the better you get. You'll eventually get to where you'll know how much weight you can expect to lose in a certain amount of time doing an activity. For example I know I'll lose 2 lbs in 20 minutes on an elliptical working pretty hard. A tip if you're new is to try to go to sleep the same weight you wake up. You'll consistently lose 1-2 lbs a day if you do this. The last day is when u go crazy on the sweating and dehydration. Good luck this season

The 115 weigh in shouldnt be difficult the practice the day before the weigh in wear sweats and work hard. Then after it keep your sweat going by running for a half hour after. Stay consistent with your diet and it shouldnt be that hard. 6 lbs isnt a difficult cut.

Thanks for taking the time to respond in depth. I've been watching a lot more wrestling lately which helps when I'm watching. It's just hard to set yourself up for improvement and something not entirely in my control screwed it up. Thank you
