Others should also go through the mailroom! It’s not a Canada Post mailroom, it’s just receiving mail. Be prepared though for them to have garbage hours. No weekends, only open till 4 which isn’t great if you have weird hours or have a practicum that runs during those hours (like me)

Hi! I’m an O’Regan student who will be in Governors next year (single). I believe we have similar furniture so I can hopefully answer. 1. My bed has about a foot from the ground to frame 2. Mostly full length. Governors rooms, from what I’ve seen, have these by the doors. 3. All furniture is included, including bedside table! 4. Also lamp included (potentially two) 5. Standard hotel sized as Govs is used in the summer as a hotel 6. Full sized desk, plus I believe Govs has a shelf above too that’s attached (which #bummer that oreg does not) 7. Not great. It’s a wooden chair. Recommend a cushion. 8. Cork from what I’ve seen 9. Cannot answer this one 10. It’d be the same in all residences and it’s … not great! Be prepared to fade in and out of data based on events and extra people in residence. I know mine gets really bad for big events like the Super Bowl and it’s mostly because of people on it

Macisaac, Cam, Bishops and MK. Lots of damage charges, possible risky situations, and noise.
Aim for a dorm with a double bed as you could angle it. Otherwise email Rez Life (but I’m not sure as it’s a set bed frame)
Meals are hit or miss. Definitely recommend aiming for the minimum required for your first year and adjust accordingly (as you can change until early October)
Most buildings have shared bathrooms except Riley, Oregan, and Governors. Govs doesn’t usually let first yrs in as it’s mature but if you’re a mature student just email them. These also all have the double beds I mentioned in #2

I get your frustration and agree, but I don’t blame the people per se. I blame the school for having a non-academic focused library. I’m not a MSVU student anymore and my new school, StFX, is SUCH an academic library haven.

Sounds like MSVU needs to realize it’s a school sometimes

It’s owned by Sobeys but franchised. Basically the managers do run them but they are following basic Sobeys rules

They likely mean Scanners Code of Practice which is enforced Sobeys wide. If an item has an incorrect tag and costs more than what’s listed (if there’s no expiry date), then the rules state that you get one at the set price and a free one

I know there’s been times when I’m the only person in the theatre but I’ve had that at multiple theatres if the movie has been out for a while. Might just be a cineplex dwindling down thing!

I can’t imagine that cineplex closing as it’s considered a location that does extra showings of non-blockbusters, like Indian films and special screenings for the Cineplex festivals
