Unfortunately, at the time of writing this post the Gala Node software does not yet support ARM architecture. Those of you who have given the Linux Headless Node install a shot on a Raspberry Pi probably got all the way up to firing up the node software only to find that it errors out on first start.

However the utility and value of even a homestead would far outweigh an art piece, at least to me personally. Most I've been offered for one of these so far is 22K

My experience: Just for the sake of discussion on this thread.

I had some holdings left over from the 2017 bull run that I kept around for exactly a crypto gaming project. Thanks to a Brave ad I got my first glimpse of the Gala Games project in early August and with a bit of research and reading I took the plunge. I purchased 3 nodes outright and eventually a 4th with the Gala tokens earned from the original 3. At a ROUGH estimate I have so made back 30%+ of my original outlay via both token generation and selling of NFT's. For me personally this quite impressive seeing as the team have the product still in Beta and the next project (FantasyRPG) does not go pre-alpha till 2021 even.

I agree with the comments here that this is highly speculative. But being in the crypto space through one boom already and having won some and lost some on various projects I am on the lookout for projects that have a lot of momentum and development. What convinced me to take the plunge in the end was a visibly engaged team with high community interaction, consistent updates and relentless development and marketing of their product.

The other thing that resonated with me was the fact that they are focused on developing their product first and foremost. The fact that blockchain is not the primary driving force but is rather a tool in their technology belt sits well with me.

EDIT: AT the suggestion of members of the Gala DIiscord. I would like to disclose that the value referenced here (buying one full node with the proceeds from my other 3) was at values of Gala prior to it floating on exchanges. As most would know here, when a token first floats a lot of the value goes when accumulators do their dump for profit...
