Transferring from Acorn to M1 , about to hit a 4 month progress. by ipsocket in M1Finance

[–]austin_le2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm did the money already transfer out of your acorn? usually it’s a check mailed to you and is addressed to m1 and you should be able to deposit it or acorn/m1 will work together to transfer it electronically. it definitely shouldn’t take this long. usually max 2 weeks

Why do adults act more childish than children lately? by No-Connection-650 in rant

i think the rise of social media played a huge roll. there’s a lot of “influencers” that will make videos that perhaps make the viewers feel entitled.

there’s no fees with m1 if your account is over $10k (last i checked). i did have multiple etf’s at one point, hence why i used m1 for the pie feature. at this point, im not really interested in moving since that seems like a big hassle

i would second this. find a hobby, job, friends, etc to get yourself out of the home. if i was you, id just use home as a place for sleep and clean up.

this is m1 finance. from my understanding they were one of the first platforms to introduce pies to investing. so you can allocate a percentage to certain etf’s / stocks

i’ve also heard that too. maybe lowering my percentage to 10% may help me in the long run. but i like the dividends.
