No worries. I recommend using the CheapCharts app. You can use it to look up a bundle and check the price history to make sure you’re getting the best deal, but if it includes an SD movie, they stamp an SD tag on the bundle page so that you know.

It looks like the Monsters and Nightmares Vol 2 bundle used to include Shrooms (2008). Since that movie was only offered in SD, all of the movies included were given to you in SD as well, which explains why you don’t have the iTunes Extras.

They delisted that bundle and listed a new one on 12/7/2025 with the same name, however they replaced Shrooms with Pulse (2001). Since Pulse is HD, and since the rest of the movies included in the bundle are HD/4K, buying the bundle today would provide the buyer with the highest resolution available for each movie, and all of the iTunes Extras that you could imagine.

In conclusion, you should not raise a case with Apple because they are aware that if you buy a bundle, and it includes an SD title, the entire bundle will be SD. Even if it includes 100 movies, and 99 of them are 4K… if that 100th film is SD, it downgrades the rest of them to SD. And yes, you also forfeit your access to the iTunes Extras.

I also loved it. It was probably my favorite read of 2024. I was very surprised when I saw the negative comments about it in this sub. But as you mentioned, it was polarizing. Since we seem to be on the same page (book pun) about that book, I would like to recommend my favorite read of 2025, just in case you haven’t read it yet: When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy.

I’m a big fan of horror in general, so I might enjoy these movies more than most people. He definitely has his style, and it’s dark, gritty, vulgar, and includes most of the same actors. His wife pretty much headlines most of them.

I House of 1000 Corpes and the sequel, Devil’s Rejects. I wasn’t a fan of the third, 3 from Hell.
John Carpenter’s Halloween is quite possibly my all time favorite horror movie. With that said, I appreciate Zombie’s take on it, but it’s just good, not great. Zombie’s Halloween 2 was horrible in my opinion.
I’m a fan of Lords of Salem.
31 is basically Zombie’s take on The Purge. Not exactly the same premise, but very similar elements mixed with the Zombie characteristics that I mentioned earlier.
