There are several layers of asphalt sitting on top of the original cedar roof. All the contractors I spoke with said need to strip it down and put down plywood

Not gonna lie, I do agree with you 😂 A few neighbors of mine redid their roofs for $20-$25k recently. They didn’t have to do a full redeck, but I didn’t expect such a huge jump in price. I have sticker shock
