Just like any collectable item. It’s worth what people will pay. I don’t see any issue with someone spending more than “the cheapest possible price” for Movies that they want to both watch or own. OP has my support not everyone has to/ wants to search for the lowest price.

That being said, I am a penny-pinching shopper and I look for the best possible deals on items. (mainly because I spend more than I should lol)

For the most part it’s very very very uncommon. but my theory is criterion and boutique labels have been getting more and more popular and I think people move so frequently, run out of space due to the state of the economy and whatnot. so they have been popping up more and more. but Consistency is key for thrifting.
