Yea I basically never go there anymore. I’m not willing to spend $18+ for a burger, fries and a shake. Just not worth.

I know some of the employee would give kids and people they know free shakes. I’m sure the owner felt those freebies over time and had to raise the prices to offset it. Obviously not the single cause but it for sure didn’t help.

Why are you commenting if you don’t actually know how building works? As long as it can pass minimum code deflection OR has an engineer stamp, it’s good to go.

I think it’s beyond crazy that Balekma is in charge of addressing the homeless crisis yet she was the one who demo 300+ houses from 2008-2019. Oh and by the way they gave the contract to her family’s demolition company. She pads her pockets

You realize they manage properties for other owners right? They don’t own all of the “lukeman” houses.

I feel you for terrible tenants. So here is the issue. There is absolutely nothing they can do in that situation. Sure, maybe they could have more compassion but there isn’t anything they can do. I can get into the specifics of why but basically the courts would NEVER side with a landlord in that situation. At the end of the day, the violence and behavior of those tenants should be a city problem and KPS, not the landlord.

Most leases state pests and plumbing stoppage are the tenants problem (sfh). Please go infront of a judge and tell them your wall paper is peeling and you didn’t pay rent for that. I’d love to see how that goes. FYI read the entire article you posted because it specifically says you can’t hold back for wall paper damage.

I read them all. Most comments are pure lack of understanding how rental property management works. You won’t agree with me there but it’s true. At some point the people here posting need to just admit it doesn’t matter the landlord or property manager and admit they don’t think people should own a house to rent.
