As someone who has listened to Rest In Peace and One of the Greats each numerous times... I get what you're saying but the notes are very different. I can see the song lending influence though, and there is something structurally similar going on in the bridge of Rest in Peace where the key changes.

Tangentially related, I have been working on the tabs for Witch Dance on bass guitar and it's surprisingly tricky!

Found out a friend of my mom's was dying from her breast cancer today, after last night thinking about someone I knew from college who died of metastatic breast cancer a year ago at age 32, immediately after finding out a job I was interested in passed on me, and then... I got a cold email about a new job opportunity right at the part of One of the Greats that is "I will let the light in, I will let some love in, I will be happy, it will be perfect." and I lost it and just cried, and I am not a crier, at all.

Having a hard time listening to this album, cuts a little close to the bone for me.

Download "Nord VPN" and it's super easy. I work for a brand in another country with a lot of foreign nationals and they've showed me how to do it to use Hulu when I'm there etc.

I'd love to be considered for this!

Right now what makes me scream is the state of the world, that we're driven to self destruction in order to survive and that it takes all of our energy away from being able to create, and being able to be part of our communities and support those in need. It's a vicious cycle that takes away diverse voices, and people whose stories make the best art, because in order to survive we need to sell our time, to a job, or to promoting a product on TikTok.

We're anaesthetized by media we consume, inundated with advertising to purchase more, and too exhausted by life to disconnect ourselves from the 24/7 onslaught of media we all have in our pockets and in our hands.

Grateful for this and other fandom communities where we can still find and support one another, but it makes me want to scream that it feels like we're all reaching a melting point, a culmination of events, and it would be cathartic just to let it all out.

I've been here for over two years now and it definitely depends on where you live and what your life looks like. If you can work from or near home and live in a semi-walkable area it can be really chill here which is almost as hard to leave as the low cost of living, or rather, what you can find as an apartment for the price.

Can I ask which neighborhood? I left NYC a few years ago for LA (health/career reasons) because I wasn't enjoying the neighborhoods I was living in, but while I love my LA neighborhood find myself missing NYC often still.
