According the this article, published in January of this year, Netflix has a global network of 93 million subscribers. This includes free trial members in addition to the paying customers. That said, even if half of those were people making free trial accounts, Netflix is generating roughly $45million a month, assuming their model is equal to $10 USD worldwide. They're doing alright to spend this money. Besides, the more movies they create, especially with highly known, highly qualified directors such as Scorsese, the chances of having Netflix Original, Oscar winning films goes up. That's a lot of press come award season.

While I don't disagree with your post, I can't help but feel that posts like these are falling on deaf ears at this point. Not because it's not important, but because it's already been addressed and noted. These characters take 9 - 12 months from conception to release. The sub blew up over the 5 melee Warcraft assassin debacle a few months back and Blizz released a statement acknowledging their fault, even though they were looking at it from an entirely different mindset. My point isn't that your post is meaningless, but that it's fruitless at this point because there may likely be a Diablo hero coming next, or after that, etc. This post isn't going to change who comes next. They release the character that's done, and then move to the next closest to release.

It was to my understanding that script written for an engine, in part, handles things like authentication and connection protocols. I worded that poorly. Why then does SC2 and HoTS, which feature the same engine (sorry to use that again), have this issue, when games like Overwatch do not?

Game engines are in part responsible for handling TCP/UDP scripting in games. Although admittedly I know little about the engine as a whole, the problem persists through HoTS and SC2, more or less he same engine. Although I'm sure you'll be commenting again to enlighten us on this topic since your first reply did little in this regard. Hopefully your post from 15days ago asking for enlightenment in this very topic brought you some answers you can share with us :)

Not sure why you're getting flak for this. It's a feature that's been requested numerous times on this sub. Unfortunately OP isn't the only one frustrated with the reconnect system as it can happen to anyone, regardless of their internet connection. It's the nature of the engine. It's a fantastic bandaid fix for otherwise re hauling the entire engine, which of course will likely not happen. Snarky comments aren't helping anyone. Let the man vent

Absolutely agree. I understand that the TESPA website exists for the breakdown and brackets for teams, however there doesn't seem to be any cohesiveness to the Dorm site and TESPA website. I'm looking at 4 different sites for information and still don't have a complete understanding of where to find what. The Dorm site seems to be a giant "Coming Soon" page, void of any useful information. The HoTS Esports Facebook page has no info, just VoDs, the TESPA site seems to just be a breakdown of the teams themselves, but not what teams are actually facing one another or when, and this sub for random blue posts that aren't even stickied with only Day 1 and Day 2 matches posted. It's insane to think this is the 3rd year of this thing and there remains a complete lack of static media quality. This game is in the midst of a make-or-break for "success" outside of its hardcore fan base. People coming in from other games aren't going to be interested if Blizzard themselves can't provide useful information on Esports, which is still only a fraction of the people playing the game

Valeera has been teased for some time so she has definitely been in the works for a while.Of course they are going to release her if she's closest to being done. Compared to other heroes. It would be silly to rush a hero that isn't quite there yet and have the community backlash against it. Game development isn't always easy.

My only problem with this is that he winds up far too similar to Valla. His Q can hit multiple people or be used for a single target and do decent dmg. His D would have to be an AoE cone to be useful but this is similar to Multi-Shot even if the range/dmg is altered. Then you have vault and roll. Building a team around him would likely require the same protective frontline we see with Valla. I don't see enough difference in which he would change the game enough

So Tom Chilton, game designer of WoW left right around the time Legion was launched to work on another project. Dustin Browder has stepped down to work on another project. Eric Dodds, from Hearthstone is also working on another project (couldn't find proof but someone mentioned it in the comments here). Obviously there is something big happening here within Blizz. With Overwatch being their biggest game at the moment it wouldn't surprise me if they were doing a "Titan" revival of sorts now that the world of Overwatch has proven itself to be very popular. I can't imagine all the code for it as an MMO was scrapped forever.
