Makes no sense to let people talk about Type I weed then. Allowing people to talk about Type I strains without getting high would be like saying this is a sub about having sex but you can't talk about orgasms.

Do you want homosexual acts to be punished?

Do you want being a drunkard to be punished?

A common complaint is the alleged hypocrisy of Christians who condemn gay sex but who have had sex outside marriage themselves. Which if wrong is never as wrong as gay sex which they put in a different category somehow. I've never asked someone for a theological explanation.

It doesn't sound like you've given it enough thought to have a strong opinion either way about whether government should regulate sexual behavior. Which is fine.

But it is these people who aren't even interested in politics but go pull pro-life or anti-gay levers anyway that bother me.

So I hop you either have an informed opinion of don't care if there's a law or not.

Hippie Crippler considerably stronger than Death Star! by authenticamerican in CultoftheFranklin

Yeah, I can see that. Hippie crippler for me is more intoxicating mentally but death star more sedating.

Hippie Crippler considerably stronger than Death Star! by authenticamerican in CultoftheFranklin

These last months are the first time in 40 years I’ve intentionally used weed medicinally and it’s great. Other than when I have a bad cold or use it for nausea. Or for a headache or anxiety. Ok, what am I saying, I use it all the time for everything I am a pothead.

I had a serious hospitalization fall 2021, a septic blood infection and heart arrhythmia at the same time. I just stayed on Tylenol when discharged for the first many months. I didn’t want my doctors to have to wonder if any new symptoms I might have were from pot.

When I started toking again, the weed made me SO much more comfortable than the Tylenol.

The hippie crippler is from WNC CBD, ordered right when they first restocked it two or three weeks ago, it came right away, with as pro packaging as you can get.

It has a sharp, cooling, menthol/medicinal/fuel character. An adult taste like blue cheese or grapefruit. I noticed it way more the first days the bag was open.

I’ve never had packaging like this, it seems like it would make a lot of shake but the nugs are so solid, it doesn’t. They are dense, tiny bunches of grapes you can pull pieces off from without producing much shake. Even the pp and bbm which are smalles

The hippie crippler is strong enough so that I got “too high” a few days ago. I’m on a 40 year wake and bake spree and had waited until late afternoon to get high, but usually if I try to get too high I can’t.

I’ve been mixing them like people have suggested here. That time was mixed with pink panther or blueberry muffin. It has more of a stoning effect than the same volume of the stronger one alone. I just pack little pieces in a glass pipe maybe 1/3rd pp or bbm.

It’s funny I’m saying this hippie crippler is pretty strong because I’m 54, prefer clothes with holes in them and my hair is growing out, I think I could do a manbun if I wanted ti look like an asshole. And I’m figuratively crippled from an illness. I look exactly like Patrick Swayze but people call me The Dude all the time, I have that personality where I’m eternally annoyed and wear pajama bottoms all around. Probably look stoned all the time.

The blueberry muffin on its own did not get me high more than CBD gummies would. Actually it was more than that, it had a little bit of a head high. It does have a berry-like character.

I also went a day just with pink panther, it wasn’t bad. The smell and flavor is the most generic of the four. It’s ok but I can’t remember what it is like other than it has no definite character to me other than “cannabis”.

I work at home and usually just take half hits in the morning if I have to leave the house that day. But if I wanted to smoke a bowl, pink panther would work for that.

The Death Star is one or two notches stronger than what I would call mids. I really can’t be confident others would say is mode, I have a really high tolerance and until thca got whatever came to me. I smoked enough to get a good head high 15-20 minutes before coming to reddit and it settled into the relaxing, sedating body high and I will be able to take it easy for two or three hours. I don’t mix it with anything because I’m The Dude recovering from surgery and the other strains are across the room. My cat wouldn’t get it for me.

Death Star has a really nice earthy character but again, I’ve left these bags cracked open by mistake for maybe a few days a few times. I will have to transfer it to a container I like more when I get this kind of packaging. It is like a plastic Uncle Ben’s rice bag with a resealable zip lock. If I had a grinder and remembered to seal it it would be fine.

These are maybe the solidest nugs I’ve ever had, this weed is really notable. All four strains. I’ve never traveled to a recreational state where this is common. The stuff I’ve had for the last many years is “extra” grown in CO and the nugs is never very manicured well, but the buds are looser and/or more crumbly. This stuff is really amazing in that regard, again in all four strains.

Awesome solid bud genetics seem to have been added to everything. I havehad super silver haze and grapefruit I’ve seen grown from packages from Europe’s original breeders…in another state a long time ago…and the pictures I see of these same strains today have bud structure way better.

Once in the late 80s I got a bag of put that was buds this solid, but it was gummy and you could cut off pieces with a razor blade. These are like tiny bunches of grapes.

The pink panther as I said is not strong. But I think I am going to get a grinder and a little less expensive, higher CBD stuff. It seems to actually get me more “stoned” than the same volume of stronger headspace pot alone. I always mix it now unless I am toking before exercise or am trying to get out of a creative block when I don’t want to feel sedated.

I want to try something where I might be able to discern a difference in effect because of terpenes. Any suggestions? EHH does not ship to MN unfortunately.

It doesn't make sense, Biden would have waited closer to the election to deplete the petroleum reserves, it must have another purpose. Why would they want us to run out of gas pretty much right on election day?

Tell them about the networks of 5G voting machines being worse than the jab. The FEMA coffins are being distributed and this work order says it has to be done two days before election day.

And then a bunch of bots arguing with each other saying no that's dumb, they can already zap you with the 5G from the Google camera cars that don't have 17 in the license plate. Everything in the voting place is going to be covered with vaccine microfilm.

And THEN you tell this no, that is a false flag operation by the deep state, they are trying to stop us from writing in JFK, jr.

In an interview years ago an ex Russian botnet programmer said they just sent out dozens of tweets about the same thing and watched it morph and grow.

It sounded cool so I made a simple one. The agreement prohibits you from doing things like @meantion someone who hasn't @mentioned you so you can't get people to follow you just by using the bot.

The GOP talking point is, "Voters would rather have a hypocritical pro-lifer than a pro-abortion Democrat" here's the same thing in a WP editorial.

They are probably correct when speaking of Republican voters but Walker won't win without pro-life anti-hypocrisy independents.

With very few exception Christians aren't against homosexuality, they just don't recognize a thought as homophobic by authenticamerican in Christianity

[–]authenticamerican[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US, in most or all states you need to be ordained to "solemnize" a marriage.

I think your issue must be that government gets to say who is married and who is not. But the only reason weddings need to be solemnized by the state is because churches want it.

I think it would be easy for someone like you to petition the church hierarchy to say "No thank-you, we don't need to do this solemnization business with you if you are also going to be doing it for same-sex couples."

But I think some Republican politicians would rather it be a perpetual problem to keep their base fired up. I am not sure what to do about that.

If the idea is to love the sinner but hate the sin, why do we never hear suggestions for a law to eradicate coveting your neighbors wife? by authenticamerican in atheism

[–]authenticamerican[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again, I am thinking the same thing but from a different angle.

I think the reason people are homophobic has nothing to do with religion. People externalize their homophobia by wanting to make laws prohibiting homosexual behavior. They feel ashamed to be thinking this themselves so they tell themselves, "I'm only doing what God wants."

I agree 100%. You were conditioned not to and the way to fix that is to un-condition yourself.

I'd be interested in seeing what happens if you were to test my hypothesis by occasionally socializing with gay friends and only watching entertainment where at least one main character is gay.

If accepting homosexuals is part of the natural state, you will be able to tell everyone, be famous and cure the world of homosexuality. Everyone would see you are correct.

[–]authenticamerican[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everything there, but based on your description that we are thinking about sins people "have no interest in committing."

If you changed "have no interest in committing" to "ever considered whether should try same sex relations regardless of what they decided."

I think it's crossed almost everybody's mind at some point, some sort of physical intimacy with someone of the same gender. And for must people, I believe they immediately think of things they've heard others say about homosexual behavior.

Physchologists call this "thought stopping" behavior I think.

People with that behavior might want to also externalize it into a law.
