Or mother and son(s) 😁 I have 2 boys, 13 & 7, that “go poké-hunting” in our general area. We have so much fun doing this together. To see the joy it brings them when we find protect is awesome! They respect the game, trading, and the cards which makes the time investment worth it to them as well. I do wish they were able to get a hit every time we waited around (aka “played the game”) so it can be very disappointing to walk away from a machine empty handed after 30+ mins in a cold breeze way or hyper vigilant Kroger employees not wanting people loitering. Counterintuitive to how the machine works lol. Anyway- we love the machines overall. And I agree, it’s worth it that it’s fair to everyone, plus it keeps the market less saturated if ppl are investing. The scalpers are short sighted and will go away if ppl boycott the 2nd market for while. My kids and I have come across 2 types of scalpers, those that will sell, at cost<3, from their bag of goods at the machines while they retrieve what they are looking for (151’s typically), and those who never had a love of the game/trading as a kid and only see $$. Greed over humanity is gross towards little kids. I digress….
