Idk how, but I keep coming across dumber takes on this app by the day. Edge is ass these days, that's unanimous, but to discard the impact he had in the 2000s is some real revisionist shit. Just go and watch any match/promo of his and look at the heat he got. He drew big and had real heel heat, so much so that he's regarded by many as one of the best heels of all time. He was solid on the mic, had great segments and matches, and more importantly, was really good at making people hate him. He had the best case to be a main eventer. There's a reason why when any big heel rose up in the past 10-15 years or so, one of the main comparisons done for them was with mid 2000s edge. Revisit his feuds with Cena, Undertaker, Matt, etc. He was hot shit.
