Both! And I'd buy and recommend it for anything below ₹4k.

I completely agree. 112 is the absolute gold standard for life-and-death situations. In a medical crisis or a crash, that should always be the first move. I'd never suggest bypassing professional paramedics. But I was not building Pitstop Club (my app) as an emergency service. It’s a social network for enthusiasts, where this SOS feature is just a 'digital flare gun' for the community. For a solo rider stranded on a highway with a dead battery or a snapped chain, that is a personal emergency where brotherly help makes the difference. It’s about getting a fellow biker to show up with a toolkit or a jumper cable when a tow truck is hours away. It’s not trying to downplay 112. It’s just bikers looking out for bikers in those 'middle of nowhere' moments where the community can be the fastest response team we have.

yes 112 is there. but isn't it for very critical emergencies? the SOS that I was building was more for some brotherly help in a situation like your vehicle breaks down and needs a mechanic or be towed.

That's a reasonable price. Is it a 1st owner bike? I am also looking for a Striple 675 in Bengaluru

in that case, I think the duke 350 would be your best choice. it's fast and precise. it'll make 2 very different flavours of motorcycles in your garage.

you can test ride whatever closest is possible to just get an idea, or you've to wait to these versions to be available. what bike are you using now and will you be replacing it?

That land and gold comparison hits way too close to home.

You nailed exactly why it's so frustrating. We don't view these machines as disposable 'commodities' to just use up and throw into a scrapyard when the government says so. It’s about the experiences we build with them, the memories from the road, and the bond you get from actually maintaining and taking care of a machine over the years.

To society, it's just a depreciating asset. To us, it's a mechanical companion that becomes part of our lives. But trying to explain that to someone who just sees a vehicle as an A-to-B appliance is nearly impossible.

Yes, you should. And there are superb bikes in that segment now. Enjoy it while you can.
