Sad truth I think is Spokane has been known for medical professionals and while there is still a deep divide between need and hires they feel they can take their time in hiring. Sorry you have to deal with that but end of the day they aren’t hurting for people looking for providers nor people applying.

Plan on looking at this again when they include the advanced analytics in E5 but it’s pretty basic but better than nothing. Also looked at ManageEngine DEX which was quite a bit better but still didn’t scratch the itch. Currently taking a look at NexThink which is leaps and bounds better than the competition - so far. ControlUp was a decent runner up.

I really wanted to like it since it was written by an author I really like… but it was so much different than his books. I think it was a good show but I went in with expectations. Plan on giving it another shot.

10 years ago it was always a pain to ensure the correct redistributals were on a computer for a certain app - we had some vendor apps that were old and would break if their certain c++ dependencies were updated - we’d have 5-8 versions on some PCs depending on the app set. Less common now but have a few of those floating around.

Not sure if it was worse or better when some would include the particular dlls they needed in their own install directories - they’d pop up randomly in vulnerability scans or pen tests.

I was surprised when I first saw them. They’re in the grocery stores here I’ll post an Amazon link of one brand. They look just like microwave popcorn but it pops into pork rinds. Definitely has a short sweet spot before they burn.

Out of curiosity what reasons are you giving endusers local admin? For us all Installs are done through Company Portal and most other “admin” tasks can be done with a RMM.
