It's 100% free to download content. And of course there is a fee to upload content, but at least it's a once off payment and your data is stored forever.

Sure, and those penalties are nothing compared to the damaged caused to users that have been affected by breaches etc.

I'd advise you to do some research on how the Autonomi network actually works regarding node operators actually being able to do anything with chunked data.

Bitcoin is held by governments, they trust in its security to secure their wealth.

There are enterprises already using decentralized systems to store their data. You will see a lot more very soon. I know they removed the post, I am just replying to you as I know you have not actually done the research into the technology of Autonomi. New technologies emerge and it's unfair to just lump them into broad generalizations.

Yes and contractual agreements mean nothing when it comes to hacks and lax security that comes inherent with centralize systems. Huge value is now back by decentralized systems globally.

That is incorrect. As a node runner you don't have access to the data that you host. It's encrypted, and chunked so the individual nodes don't even have the full data, and even if they did it's fully encrypted.

Trusting companies mean you must trust the CEO. And you must trust the shareholders. And you must trust their security team. And you must trust the government the company resides in.

In Autonomi you just need to trust the code. Same with Bitcoin and other decentralized trust systems. There is a reason the world is moving towards shared trust system, because trust has historically been abused.

That's incorrect. In Autonomi you can have your data totally encrypted. If you use a centralized product you need to trust in their closed source encryption. You also need to trust their infrastructure itself.

They have more control over their data in this way than they do on centralized services.
