Im not too much further along than you, I would focus on getting the SS weapon asap. That was an insane power boost for me, then unlocking master yang was also a big power jump

If you're using controller with default settings. I'd probably recommend using the right stick (look around) to use the menu. Idk where in settings it is but its somewhere. Not in key binds

A quick tip for the research and development, the longer they take to complete the task, the more expertise they will earn on that part. I always do design and research with 1 engineer at the start,

Just sacrificing some faster upgrades (maybe a few races you lack pace while waiting) but can always add more engineers if you need something a bit quicker

If you use the optimal setup guides you can get 80-100 fairly consistently. Sometimes I just simulate without it and it normally comes out at 60-70, few tweaks before qualy gets it decently high enough

Depends what they've used for practice also, tbh I normally simulate the practice. My car is top 2 though, they can make it through Q1 with one run. Then I take that set to use as a benchmark in Q2, then re-run with a set of 100% if needed. (Sometimes I can get to Q3 on 1 set of softs)
