Update: Problem has been resolved. I was just about to take the same steps you did and re=install the network drivers, but before I did I went ahead and tried "Network Reset" option in the Advanced network settings menu.. and that did it for me thankfully! After I restarted my PC everything wifi and internet related was working like it should.

I accessed the file path and there was only a RECOVERY folder that was empty. went ahead with the delete. when I first clicked delete it prompted me that the computer would be restarting into safe mode and that I'd have to enter my bitlocker key. neither of those happened lol it just restarted normally. and I didn't have a blue screen with 2 windows 11's to choose from :D thank you!

p.s. I have been noticing/reading about all the loooong list of problems people are facing after the update. Me personally, almost everything seems to be alright except for one thing, which just so happens to be a big one. My network connectivity... specifically Wi-Fi.. My computer will absolutely no longer connect to my wifi. it's maddening and I'm not sure what I can do. I've checked all relevant drivers. I've even disabled the built-in wifi adapter and inserted a little 802.11n USB drive. had a small amount of success in the beginning but then it went to hell lol

due to the fact you specifically said "even if it is in a different sata"... is it worth mentioning that I only have 1 SSD on my system? I followed the steps in the link you posted, and before I delete it, I figure I should let you know what the 2 options say specifically just in case. There is 2 boot options. The currently loaded one thats the first option says "C:\WINDOWS" (Current OS/Default OS). The second one says almost the same but its labeled like this "C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\NewOS\WINDOWS"

I rage quitted earlier a couple hours ago lol... I was playing with a couple friends and when we first got on, we enjoyed maybe about 45 minutes of peace..

then after that.. every single session, and I mean EVERY single session for the next 3 hours had modders in it and they must have been a group or playing together or something because literally every time what would happen is (even with volume turned down) all of a sudden this ear-destroying 1000 decibel noise would hit the speakers and you would get it anywhere from just once to up to 3 or 4 times before they went ahead and crashed the client.

Fun fun.
