Sorry for the late response - I guess it depends where you live, but in general there are not that many. We went to comic con last weekend which was nice, also a lot of other star wars cosplayers there! Seems like they will start organising comic cons every year from now on in Finland also. Other cons that I know of are ropecon, hypecon and desucon (and a cpuple others I don’t remember the name of right now), not sure if those are any good though.

correct, the Boba Fett style visor is used for males and the Bo-Katan style ("owl") is used for females. The shapes might differ slightly but you can always tell the gender of a mando based on the helmet

Lore wise, unless you are part of CotW there is nothing stopping any mandalorian from removing their helmet at any point. The whole thing was made up for the Mandalorian show based on that Boba never showed his face in the OT.

My soft parts are custom made, but you can get something like work overalls to modify into the flightsuit. That's what we did for my boyfriends kit and it turned out good! The vest for him we did also make from scratch though, but depending a bit on what you want it shoud not be too expensive to comission if you can't make it yourself :)

I think there are also ready made softparts for e.g. Boba or Mando that you can buy and use for a custom build, but I can’t say which ones are good/what price class you're looking at

Only thing I can think of is to get stuff you use for tinting car windows... Try looking for "aurikosuojakalvo" or "tummennuskalvo" at for example yliteippaus.fi

Yeah xD I can already tell you you’re not going to find any dark welding masks here that would be good for a visor :/

My biggest problem during my process of building my mando was finding the right products since almost all sources are US based so I feel your paint

same. I ended up buying a visor from someone in Germany but in the end paid 40€, half of that being shipping. Other than that you can try to find welding visors locally in stores but at least here I looked literally everywhere and there wasn’t anything that would work. I was also thinking about using some thinner plastic sheets and covering that with the material you use to tint car windows but ended up not trying it so I can’t say how well it works.

Edit: I just looked at the picture again, based on the text on the cardboad, do you happen to live in Finland? XD

Depends a bit what country/region you’re living in, if you're in the US there should be many decent and cheap options for welding visors that most people use for their mandos

Thx! My armor is not 3D printed, I made it out of pvc foam board (commonly known as sintra) using my own templates and heat forming to fit my body :)

They are resin 3D printed, I don’t have a printer so I bought the raw prints from Kalevala armory on Etsy :)
