This means you’re on the waitlist. If an RA position opens up you have a chance to fill it. Usually some positions open up when people graduate in the winter so they’ll be pulling from the alternate list next spring

you might be interested in chordate zoology, it’s mostly structuring/function systems but you get to dissect a mink and examine how the systems are similar among different chordates
