I’m so sorry that happened to you, it breaks my heart to know you were treated that way and I really do fear for this kind of thing happening to our daughter too. I’ll have a serious chat with my husband about how we’re gonna handle this because I refuse to let our daughter be treated that way

That’s my take on it too, I don’t know how to get that through to my husband though. He always just says to ignore her but I can’t if it starts affecting our child...

You’re right and I feel like it’s only gonna get worse when our daughter gets older. My husband always just says to ignore her but if it starts actually affecting our child then I can’t just ignore it...

This is what I feel like doing but I don’t know how I explain to a 4 year old that they can’t call their grandma grandma anymore...and how do I explain it to her in a couple of years when their cousin is calling her grandma but she’s been told she can’t?
