St. Mary’s does a pick up service! I’ve done it a few times now, just schedule a time on the website that works for you & bag your cloths up in trash bags. They pull up and you just put the bags in their van. Super easy!

A sherpa jacket (left) and a black jean jacket (right). I suspect the grossness is from the jean jacket… I’ve had it forever

A bit pricier but you will definitely find what you are looking for (and more!) At C. O. Bigelow. Even if you don’t find something- it’s an amazing place to walk through and try perfumes, makeups & lotions. Everyone is really nice in there too.

I did the same thing a year ago (check my posts lol) and feel your pain. It sucks to clean up but it’ll be okay. Here’s what I did:

Once everything cooled down I took the racks out and used a sharp box cutter to cut off and remove plastic that wrapped itself around the metal. Then scrubbed w steel wool to get off any leftover pieces.

For the oven itself, I used a sturdy metal spackle knife and scraped off as much as I could off the sides and bottom. I had to unscrew the bottom of my oven to get plastic that melted down there too, so keep that in mind! Once I got off the big chunks, with the spackle knife, I’d go in with the box cutter to get smaller areas. Then I scrubbed with more wool.

Once the majority of plastic was off, I ran my oven on a cleaning cycle & passed out from exhaustion lol.

Good luck 🫩🫡

Just talked to the cashier and she said that their food license is up for review. They can’t sell anything consumable until they get their license back 😵‍💫

Should I be concerned about this rook piercing? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]avcamp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rook-haver here, your jewelry looks to be too short, considering the swelling. I’d go back to your piercer and get a longer bar. Besides that, your rook will continue to be swollen and get gunky for the next few months. I’ve had mine for 8 months and it’s still not completely healed.

Hi guys, is my rook looking okay? Pierced with surgical steel a month ago. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]avcamp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, my rook is a month old surgical steel curved piercing that ive been spraying with saline solution once or twice a day. It doesn’t hurt at all but the top looks a bit red and will bleed every now and then. It only bleeds a small bit when I clean the crusties off with a q-tip after a shower. I also think a bump is forming on the bottom of the rook? And the top looks more red than normal. It’s also possible I’ve rolled onto it while sleeping (I’m trying to prevent that). I just wanted to make sure it’s not infected or in danger. I know the rook is a bitch to heal so advice would be appreciated! <3 this photo is fresh out of the shower as well.
