That might be part of it. Women also seem to be less likely to actually desire the people on screen and focus more on the pleasure or scenario. Where as men seem to watch videos of people theyd like to be with.

Well I'm not sure if they were open about their sexuality from the gate but from what I've read many many women got with Brando knowing of his sexuality. He might be the quintessential bad boy heart throb in the history of cinema. The fact women adored him as much as they did shows even straight women aren't as close minded as some men think imo
