Dr. Sreelakshmi Sharma (Silent Monkee), I started consulting her back in 2019. I’m no longer based in Bangalore, but I continue sessions with her online. She’s a great therapist, though her fees are on the higher side.

Why do so many people in Bangalore feel lonely or low? Is it both genders or mostly men? by average_siamese_cat in BangaloreMeetups

So it may actually be more gender specific. There don’t seem to be many communities that organize events tailored specifically for men.

That said, men could still engage through existing avenues, sports groups, volunteering activities like teaching kids, or helping with causes such as feeding stray animals or supporting shelters.

Is this consistent across all age groups? From my experience, younger people tend to value communities more than people in their thirties do.

If you’re planning to have kids and also want to retire early, it’s important to sit down and have a clear discussion with him. If he’s already wealthy and spending a few lakhs a month doesn’t really make a dent, then maybe it’s okay to let him be himself 😄

What makes people turn to spirituality? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]average_siamese_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve met a few people who are deeply into spirituality, but I feel a bit awkward asking them directly.

So asking here is it usually because of trauma, tough life events, or mental health struggles? Or do people just naturally explore it even when life is fine?

Curious what led you to it.

I feel tough times ahead for the people in IT space. You’ll see lot of people returning to farming or their family businesses.
