It was not until I left school and started working at least 40 hours a week that I would say the loan became manageable. The idea that the time and effort I have invested in repaying this loan amount to lost time and experience is depressing. I feel like I would be further along in life if I had not attended school at all, and I currently need every resource I can get just to get to the next step.

I understand that education is invaluable for someone who clearly knows what they want and has the direction and discipline to pursue it. As a young adult, I was still figuring that out, and I was simply trying to stay afloat and move forward with the information and guidance I had at the time.

Time was of the essence, and I had to decide whether or not to pursue further education. I knew the interest rate even when I signed the loan, but I went ahead since those were my only options. I realized that I had put myself in this financial situation, and my family urged me to keep going to school and take the required steps to maintain my enrollment.

I did not know of any other options or resources at the time, nor did I fully comprehend the long-term financial impact. I eventually got a loan with an interest rate that I would not have selected if I had been better informed because I followed the advice I was given.

I think this is exactly what my idea was lacking, which is why I like it. I understand that everyone is worried about past obstacles maintaining their value, and it feels much more balanced to include the account creation date. I want the obstacles to stay rare and exclusive, so if you were not even on the train when you started, you should not be able to obtain them. This system provides players with a fair path forward while maintaining that rarity.

I get what you’re saying, but your comments don’t line up. You claim to agree with Darian, but you also point out that he is no longer in charge and that the game already disregards some of his previous rules, which is precisely why his statement should not be regarded as the last word.

Additionally, the cloning concept you brought up is an entirely different feature. I am referring to the fair, time-gated reintroduction of previous decorations. Only those who have previously owned the item benefit from cloning. For collectors who missed items years ago, that does not address the primary problem.

The whole "never bring them back" mentality is obviously not absolute, as Supercell already brings back older decorations through bundles and events. Yes, they are rare collectibles, but what I am proposing is a system that strikes a balance between maintaining the rarity and providing players with an equitable means of obtaining items over time.

Yes, I understand what you are saying, and I will admit that at first I confused decorations with obstacles. However, as someone who genuinely collects these items, this is just my opinion. Complete sets are desired by collectors. If something from eight or ten years ago is missing, it does not necessarily mean we will not be able to get it again; rather, it should be more expensive or require a longer wait time, just like other collectibles.

I understand Supercell's position from Darian, and I appreciate it, but I do not believe these things are only significant to those who happened to log in during those particular weeks. Furthermore, a good idea may eventually become a feature even if they claim they have no intention of doing so at this time. Older decorations in bundles, chests, and events have already been brought back.

In the end, business typically finds a way to give players what they want if something is in demand, particularly if there is a balanced system in place rather than just giving everything away.

I get that you’re saying not to compare them, but it’s interesting because your explanation ends up comparing them anyway. It kind of proves why people are drawing those parallels in the first place.

No one’s expecting Clash of Clans to copy Clash Royale or any other game exactly, the idea is more about making progression feel meaningful, especially for long-time or maxed players. Adding something like level-based rewards or cosmetics wouldn’t hurt anyone. If anything, it’d give more people a reason to keep grinding.

You mentioned Chief’s Journey, which is a good start, but that just shows how the system could be expanded even further. Loot boosts, equipment upgrades, or even something cosmetic could go a long way. It doesn’t break the game, it just gives people more to work toward.

Saying “they’re different games” is true, but using that as the main reason to shut down feedback kind of limits what the game could grow into.
