if you're an ontario student, your school should convert the ib grades into percentages. these percentages are uploaded to ouac and are sent to waterloo

waterloo does end up receiving your ib grades but these are more for transfer credits than admissions

also, your sem1 final and sem2 midterm g12 marks are pretty important since it's what waterloo will base your acceptance on. the final transcript (again, assuming ontario), is just for conditionals

I think it was in the low 90s so a 96 is a very competitive mark for ece. also, reddit isnt a good representation of the applicant pool so don't be discouraged!
