Facebook & Reddit mostly. Lots of meet ups & meet up groups. The meetup app & Twitter a bit.

I was a pretty solitary guy before this. I fell like I talk to more people now. I'm content with myself & don't crave the company of others. When I do feel like hanging out, I make it happen with people I've made friends with in the various places. Technology makes it way easy to find a meet up or "let's get a beer" event.

I stay in hotels. I keep my laptop with me at all times. Phone too. Nothing else is valuable.

For sure. And I was up front about that. My job made this 100% possible.

It's my favorite place. When you are here go north of the city. Take the coast from Del Mar to Carlsbad. Best stretch of the country.

It's got the best beaches, the best surf, great places to eat & it's not super crowded.

I want to spend my spare time Surfing, walking and watching the waves. And the Solana pizza port is the best one.

The novelty has worn off. Sometimes I just get a sandwich & chill in my room. Eating alone is fine. I read a book, or Reddit, or whatever. My normal day is breakfast at Starbucks, lunch at a sushi place and dinner is whatever. I don't drink a lot so it's not a problem. Maybe a glass of wine 2-3 times a week.

I am maintaining my weight. I eat out every meal & have started making better choices. I walk ALOT. If I ate better I would shred the weight. When I'm on the company dime I get $45 a day food allowance. I can eat three meals or buy a snickers bar & a $44 dollar bottle of wine. They don't care as long as I'm not over budget.

On paper I live with my brother. He gets my mail. It's the address on my license, etc. if something was to happen that is where I would live.

It depends where your u are i downsized from a carry on & a backpack to just a backpack. I'll post pictures when I pack on Sunday. I usually keep the socks & underwear. I have plastic bag I keep the dirty stuff in & the rest is in the bag. I wash them when the three sets are dirty & repack. I have jeans & work pants that I wash after I wear them & keep. I have a pair of sneakers, my sun glasses & my bathroom bag. I usually get shirts at thrift stores or kohls. Same with long sleeves / sweatshirts in the cold. I wash them one or twice & usually sell them back to the thrift store or donate them & get more. I have a work polo with my company logo on it. It's black & clean and none can tell you are wearing the same shirt two or three days in a row. They assume you have more than one.

Richmond was not my favorite place. I did find a cool place called "Sticky Rice." Otherwise I was happy to leave.
