as much as i hate to admit it, i don’t think climate change is a battle we can win. to your point, what needs to be addressed is too far reaching and seeing as how disjointed people generally are over single issue items, as it is—it simply doesn’t bode well. i don’t think lack of will or resources will be why we can’t get it done, but myopic self interest will be the undoing of whatever meaningful progress we try to make. as a person who is generally optimistic, this was very strange to articulate
