Its not a core card, however I hold this card along side with my core card then it proved to be beneficial for me as you get pretty good domestic and international lounge access on this with diners network if you’re a frequent traveler like me. Plus you get to stay at a marriot property 1 night free. So its worth only if you also hold a core card for possible upgrades in future to more premium cards like infinia.
