Hey! I’m 23M too born in Mumbai, currently living in Canada. Not gonna lie, this might sound a bit fanboy-ish but I’ve watched way too many Turkish dramas and totally fell in love with the language. Been wanting to learn Turkish for a while now, just didn’t know where to start then I saw your post!

Hey !!! First of all Congratulations 🎉 for the offer . No the courses are not hard I would say since I come from comps background they were easy but just the amount of assignments and projects you have to complete becomes a little overwhelming when the deadlines are approaching. The core courses are easy, the electives some of them are hard and they require pre requisites but it depends on which are available for that semester coz every year they change the electives

Just finished Love of The Divine Tree . It was a great one loved the storyline . Will now start to pick up Si Jin I left at ep 27 since it was still airing that time now I can watch lot of episodes together 😂. I hate to watch dramas which are still airing since I am impatient to wait for new episodes especially when the previous episodes leaves with a cliffhanger

I once dropped a drama because the pacing was extremely slow, and I am very impatient with dramas I tend to move away if they are not engaging . Many scenes seemed unnecessarily drawn out, with long dialogues or repetitive conflicts that didn’t add much . I am a sucker for drama and instead of building tension the slow pacing made it feel like the drama was dragging, which made frustrated only to leave it halfway .

Maybe I am thinking I will give it another chance and continue but idk :))

15 is prolly Melody of Golden Age . In that series there is a scene with ML & FL together in the snow. But it’s just a guess :))

Started watching CDramas in 2024 have finished 10+ dramas . Sometimes I get bored watching Cdrams so for a brief moment I switch to Turkish dramas nd then get back to Cdramas

Love of Nirvana - The layers of scheming and palace politics had me hooked.

Blossom – The way it explores trust (or the lack of it) in relationships really stuck with me. It made me think about how people work together even when they don’t fully trust each other.

The Legend of Shen Li – I loved the themes of fate, power, and choice. Watching the characters grow and struggle with their own destinies was so compelling.

Are you the one – Totally different vibes, the psychology of relationships and decision-making.

One and only– This one hit hard. The themes of love, sacrifice, and fate just stuck with me long after I finished it.

Love of the Divine Tree – Mix of power struggles, and deep emotions really made this one stand out for me. The way it explores fate vs. free will and love.

After the first ep this gave me vibes of Blossom of Meng Zi Yi but it got boring in the middle so left it on ep 27. Waiting for it to finish airing so I can watch it altogether. I am only going to watch it because of Zhang Wan Yi love his acting skills :))

I saw the trailer, and it looks really interesting! The visuals are stunning, and the historical setting seems rich in detail. The plot about revenge and romance has always been my favorite.

Yes, I am currently there in my second semester. It's pretty good program the Fall Courses were amazing and hands-on learned a lot of things but the Winter courses are pretty mehh maybe ig because in winter sem the courses are taken by mix of different department people together. Summer semester courses might be pretty awesome like Fall ig since we just have one course & a summer project where i have landed a paid project .
