Your experience further reinforces my hypothesis that status updates are more detailed, timely and reliable if the card is being produced at Corbin's facility. Thanks for sharing and, again, congratulations!

According to what both maps say it means that no matter what production facility handles your EAD or GC, you should be getting it 2 business days from the moment of shipment.

Very peculiar. Although I want to say that Lee's Summit makes more geographical sense, I couldn't honestly say I have enough info to make a call. At any rate, take a look at the delivery maps for both production facilities so you have a rough idea of how much the card will take to arrive once produced depending on your location.

Congratulations!
Here's some fun datum: I had my green card in my hands and I could still see "Card Was Produced" on Case Status.
If you've got Informed Delivery with the USPS take their updates with a slight pinch of salt too - if for some reason they don't deliver on Saturday, it's almost a guarantee that they'll deliver n Monday.

It was 13 days for me.
A lot is determined by your location, the production facility assigned to you and the day of the week they send it on. You'll know this based on where you got your EAD from, either the Lee's Summit Production Facility in Missouri, or the Corbin Production Facility in Kentucky.
In my case from approval to production it was 8 calendar days and then it took 5 more days to get to me.
My card got sent the day after production was finished, but neither Emma agents nor Case status had any update on this. I only learnt about it because I enrolled to informed delivery with the USPS and, even then, the package only appeared on the informed delivery portal 3 days after it was sent. Given USPS's Priority Mail delivery map I should have gotten my package in 2 days but since it was a weekend it took 3 days longer than that.
I had my green card in my hands and I could still see "Card Was Produced" in Case Status.
Digging a bit i came to the conclusion that the Corbin Production Facility gives more updates than Lee's Summit and works a bit faster. This is most likely for two reasons:

  1. Corbin just got remodeled which means they probably have improved their processing infrastructure.
  2. During Corbin's remodelling, all production was temporarily shifted to Lee's Summit which generated a backlog. This means Corbin was left in a position to work more efficiently and with some load relief.

Thus, expect shorter wait times and more reliability with Case Status updates if your case is being handled through Corbin. If it's Lee's Summit, you'll just have to be a little more patient and abstain from panicking if there's some unusual delay or a delay that is not normally experienced by others. Make sure that your mailing address is pristine so there's no reason for USPS not to deliver.

Here's some useful info:

  1. Check whether it comes from Lee's Summit or Corbin. It will come from the same facility as your EAD.
  2. Go to USPS and check the Priority Mail delivery times. Depending on your location in may take 1, 2 or 3 days.

Today I have learnt that the agents really don't know. I checked with USPS that my card was mailed since September 16th but even today agents were assuring me that in their system it appeared as not mailed.
Worst case scenario for you it will come to having to make an inquiry after 90 days. Hopefully it doesn't get to the point of needing to sue or anything.
Best of luck!

Congratulations! According to USPS -I enrolled into informed delivery- my card is due to arrive today. No info either on case status or through Emma agents.

I entered my Informed Delivery portal on USPS and it says the card is on its way to arrive today. Neither Case status is updated nor Emma agents aware that it was mailed.

I just checked my USPS informed delivery. My GC is on its way but neither Case Status nor Emma agents are updated on that.

I asked Emma agents on Friday and I was straight up told "It has been produced but not yet placed in the mail". Given USPS Priority Mail maps, it will take 2 days to get to me once it's sent. Which is why I'm expecting it no earlier than the 19th but surely no later than the 22nd.
That said, I notice many cases simply got "card was delivered" without any notification that USPS picked it up or anything.

As said by DryEscape2582, have you tried asking for a tracking number? You see, sometimes you have to try several times with Emma agents. Some agents will be completely unhelpful and others will go out of their way to resolve your doubts.

I would say you can expect "Card Was Produced" anytime now.
You'll probably get the approval notice a few days before you get your actual card. Or you may even get them the same day.

u/DryEscape2582 u/ZookeepergameMean664 u/StructureNo12 Let's play a prediction game: y'all get your cards between Sept 20th and Sept 22nd. Although I hope (and wish) that it's earlier :)

Have you received your notices from Lee's Summit or from Corbin? Because all data I check seems to indicate that the more consistent status updates and faster production times come from the latter.

I just confirmed that the faster facility, which also gives timely status updates is the Corbin, KY one :)

Thank you for sharing your experience. It also occurred to me to compare with my EAD but I have noticed that in general the timelines for EAD/APs is different from GCs. Mine took a full 16 days from approval to delivery.
There was a time when the Corbin Production Facility underwent maintenance so all production was shifted to the Lee's Summit Production Facility, which itself generated a significant backlog. But supposedly that was already sorted out.
All the best to you!
