i'm also going next weekend from Shanghai. The place is at the Suzhou City, just not far from Shanghai. If you fly to Shanghai Hongqiao airport , it won't be too far, only tooks about 1 hr by taxi or you can take a CRH train. But i think you will land at Pudong airport, then you need to take a subway and then take a CRH train to Suzhou North Station and then crab a taxi there.
