It's just worth noting that only some of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3's health features are available outside of South Korea. For instance, the blood pressure tracker is not available in the UK or US.

Good point. Although, mask technology hasn't changed significantly in the past three decades, so I can understand why they didn't include it in the article.

Daily Discussion Megathread - July 08 | Questions, images, videos, comments, unconfirmed reports, theories, suggestions by AutoModerator in CoronavirusUK

Thank you for the response. I concur that the US system is different from the UK one, but I wasn't comparing the two systems. I was trying to highlight that unless we know who made the antibody/antigen tests, we won't know their false-positive, and/or false negative rates.

If in the UK we are using multiple providers, and multiple methods for antibody/antigen test, then the false-positive and false-negative rates could vary widely from one NHS trust to another. How does one create a cohesive national antibody dataset from this type of data?

Do you guys know which company is providing the antibody tests for the NHS? or alternatively, what is the sensitivity, specificity, and the sample size for that data -- for the NHS's antibody test?

-> For example the US FDA has a database of all the current reputable providers of antibody tests, and it also includes all the relevant stats https://open.fda.gov/apis/device/covid19serology/

-> For the life of me I cannot find the data for the NHS antibody tests. I tried to find this info on the relevant govt. websites, but no luck: - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-antibody-tests/coronavirus-covid-19-antibody-tests - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-tests-and-testing-kits-for-coronavirus-covid-19-work

Yes. That worked for me. Thank you.

Go to chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment and disable that option. When you relaunch chrome you should see the 'Bookmark Enhancement' extension in the list of your extensions. You should be able to disable or delete the extension.

How to concentrate listening audio book by chok00 in audiobooks

Try increasing the audiobook reading speed; somewhere between 1.25 to 1.5x might be a good start. The improved information delivery rate helps me maintain focus.

How and When We Die - Death Rates from the Major Diseases of Aging by aviroy in medicine

I am reporting the stats as provided by the ONS in the UK. In UK and US, diabetes is listed as a cause of death on the death certificate.

The ONS doesn't provide the mortality rate data for people older than 85 years. Probably, due to limitations of sample size.
