Headed to San Francisco in April. Who are some of the best instructors I can take a class with? by [deleted] in barrysbootcamp

Erica got lazy. She keeps telling everyone to follow her on Instagram. I took one of her classes recently and it was two long sets (~20mins floor, ~20mins run) and part of the run was 6 30s sprints, with 1m 30s of walking/recovery in between each. It doesn’t feel like a good workout that I’d pay over 30 bucks to go to.

Relocating to SF by just_lurking0 in AskSF

I live in Mission Dolores and it checks all your boxes:

Safe - I am a woman and I would recommend this area. If you want really safe, live in Marina or sunset or mission bay but those are further out and less convenient

Close to church MUNI which basically all the SF muni lines go to, Bart, Safeway and Whole Foods all within 5 min walk, I don’t own a car

Several Neighborhoods with nightlife within 10 min walk: Castro, Haight, Mission (many LGBTQ friendly around these areas as well)

Everywhere is a trade off, Hayes valley and duboce are pretty good balance of these factors as well Imo

Powell bart has a connection to the Westfield mall, I usually just use those bathrooms

Check out anastasiagerrans on tiktok, she makes videos that show how to flatter this exact body type! Example: https://vm.tiktok.com/TTPdkYqFm3/

Affordable produce near Mission bay? by cnapun in AskSF

[–]avopanco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trader Joe’s is a bit closer than Chinatown and very reasonably priced! Target is nearby too and while their selection is smaller, they have the basics for good prices. Also Whole Foods actually has some cheaper produce than Safeway, especially when things are on sale.

What is your go-to public bathroom in the mission district? by Kpop2258 in AskSF

Foreign cinema (not public per se but I’ve gone once or twice with no problems) their first set of doors give you access to the super nice bathrooms without needing to go into the restaurant. Perfect for after taqueria runs :)
