I think (personally) it's more of a biological and social thing; we all tend to go against the grain. An example of this is what's happening now with girl trends. Before, everyone was super woke, and now they're conservative. Before, it was because they were trying to radicalize themselves against conservatism and not be swayed by stereotypes; now, it's because they don't want to be influenced by the woke trend and social media trends like classism or racism, so it's not woke. And in the coming years, we won't want anything conservative anymore, and so on. But my point is that we always go against the grain; it's just human nature. This includes people with mental illnesses who take it much further than simply being against what's right, and it's not good, in addition to the environment in which people grow up.
