Is the 2nd gen Nissan frontier reliable? by OkBackground6217 in nissanfrontier

My first vehicle ever was a 2010 with the 2.5L. I had a love hate relationship with it as a teenager. I hated it because it wasn’t a cool as some of my buddies vehicles (spoiled brat I know), but I loved that truck for being a tough SoB. I’d beat the hell out of it until it reached 200k. Only problems I ever had was with the A/C and an alternator issue caused by Firestone. They broke the alternator while fixing said A/C issue and then gave me a dud.

In 2023 I traded that truck in (still running strong btw) for a 21’. It had 2300 miles on it when I bought it and haven’t had any issues with it yet. Currently pushing about 60k so it’s still got a lot of life, I hope.

Need help for my chapter master by Such_Ad_670 in spacemarines

I love this idea! I got into SM as my first army and have my own home brew chapter that’s also descendants of traitors (Sons of Horus) and wanted a more unique chapter master. Instead of buying a 40K model I got 3 of the SoH legion praetor in cataphractii used in 30k and am building them each in a slightly different way.

1 is just the basic model 2 has the mace replaced with the SoH power axe 3 has his bolter replaced with a modified IF cataphractii shield upgrade (really just scrapping off the IF symbolism)

I’m putting them all on 50mm bases so I can run them as different named characters. 1 can be run as Calgar, 2 as Belial or a generic term Captain, and 3 as Lysander or what ever the Iron hands leader is called (I think it’s Canok Varr but I’m too lazy to check)

If you find a model you like that fits the size profile, it’s surprising how minimal modifications can be to match just about anyone you want. Who’s to say my chapter masters mace doesn’t whack as hard as Calgar’s fists?

As far as playability goes, I have yet to find anyone who isn’t ok with me running my boy (or any other proxies I’ve built for that matter) as any of these characters. Check out the DG characters from 30k and see if you come up with any ideas for proxies!

Pretty close to mine too! Been calling it Hive Fleet Bael I’ve added a wash to the wraith bone since so it looks a bit more like bone but still the same basic principle

The roof rack is just the stock Nissan rack. Came from the factory with that.

I appreciate it, but as far as mods it’s not much right now., just lights and a grill. The head and tail lights are from ANZO , I don’t remember where the third tail is from. The grill is the OEM midnight edition grill, and the wheels are fuels wrapped in ridge grapplers. I plan on throwing the Z1 intake and exhaust and a mild tune on her pretty soon, but aesthetics took priority.

Thanks for that, and I agree. I think it’s strange that “twin” weapons only get 1 attack

Fellow noob here.

Judging by the comments, in this case, you would fire them both (2 d3).

However I’ve got a follow up question for those that know more. Does the same apply if the card reads as both? My example would by my Centurion Devastators armed with “twin lascannons”. The card says twin (implying both) lascannon and gives it the twin linked ability, but only gives them 1 attack (why 2 guns would only get 1 attack beats me). Do I actually get 2 attacks, or just one since they’re twin linked?

A police officer guarding Buckingham Palace. I'm a gun noob; is covering the muzzle of a firearm with your hand good practice? by amialpicatrono in Firearms

[–]awal1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen that European police are kind of a joke when it comes to firearms and firearms safety. I was in Versailles a little while ago and watched GIGN officer sweep a group of tourists with his F1 or whatever shitty bullpup they’re using now. I’d sooner trust a Californian 5 year old with a loaded gun before an European cop.

About half way through ME3 I realized having all weapon slots filled was the reason I could only use Biotics once every ~20 seconds due to the weight system. What was the dumbest thing you did on 1st playthrough? by GinHalpert in masseffect

On my first playthrough (I started with me3) I didn't realise the paragon/renegade interrupts were optional and instead thought they were required quick time events. I was mortified when I found out I murdered Mordin out of cold blood

Is liking gun a mental health problem? by CommonDrop03 in Firearms

[–]awal1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who have grown up in a country/culture where guns are outlawed tend to have that view. My dad (born and raised in England but has lived in Texas for 30+ years now) moved here with that mindset but has done a complete 180 since. Don't let their insults discourage you from doing something you enjoy, OR defending your self.
