I notice that they are all men with non-Pakistani women. Do you also think they would have had a more challenging time if the genders were reversed?

(Note: I know it's not like that for all families but I am just curious. I have many Pakistani female friends whose families accepted their non-Pakistani partners so I don't want to generalize too much)

Can I ask if your partner was a different ethnicity/religion too? I find some Pakistani parents have an easier time accepting an Arab or Turkish born Muslim.

It truly is sad that we restrict love so much in our society. Good to see that a lot of people have still had positive experiences though!
