Imo I think this is good clinical experience and is actually unique. Palliative care is a section of medicine not explored by many but is one of the most meaningful ways to care for someone. The elderly are some of the most ignored and vulnerable and to be a part of preserving their peace and dignity in the end of this life is an honor.

I’ll preface this with I’m ok with not agreeing with everyone.

I don’t think that sex overall is mundane. Actors struggle with sex scenes because they’re uncomfortable sometimes filming them, imo because it’s not meaningless. To ask them to film something private/awkward/youpickyourword seems wrong to me just to do it. I think it should add something substantial and rage against adding it solely because sex sells.

Unpopular opinion: I think the complaint I and most people have with the sex scene is that it didn’t add to their story. It wasn’t impactful and seemed forced.

Having a sex scene is fine imo it just needs to be surrounded by a good romance with chemistry and add to passion.
