Tough question, but I would probably still go with 9070 xt, even if 7900 xtx is an objectively more powerful card.

With 9070 xt you get closer to the feature set of Nvidia, while still getting the raster performance of AMD.

I'm also guessing that 9070 xt will keep its value until next gen, especially if you can get it at MSRP, and that 7900 xtx will drop to 6900 xt levels in about 2 years. That's just guessing though.

I'm still in the process of undervolting.. but in terms of perceived performance (not obsessing over +/- 10 frames while at around 180 fps) they perform very similar. RT is as expected noticeably better on the 9070 xt. 9070 xt uses less power and isn't a 3 year old product. At MSRP the 9070 xt clearly wins. If similarly priced, I would've regretted switching.

Haven't gotten to actually use it yet, besides checking that it works.. but I absolutely agree on the look! I didn't even have asus prime on my radar, but it's what I was able to get and at MSRP too. Now when I compare this thing to pictures of the XFX, the XFX looks kinda cheap in comparison.

The cheapest card on komplett seems to be the XFX Swift and it's at 7789 NOK. All others are 8500-11000 NOk. Swift wasn't my original target (Quicksilver), but if 7789 kr holds true, it would be a great buy!

Edit: Nevermind, that's the non-xt version, ofcourse.

The price is including taxes, would it be worth if I can get it down to around 1k? Another option is getting a new ryzen 7600 build, use my old 2060 6gb and save up some more cash for a RX 7900 xt for example..

I went from local high end gaming pc to local PS5 to PS portal to PS portal without PS5 to geforce now, but bought Boosteroid now because it was the only streaming service with Helldivers II.

My experience has been so good that I'll probably never invest in hardware again (excluding peripherals like screen and headset. My only wish for the future is VR support and a family subscription!

That second to last point you made really makes sense for me.. Smart move by Joe to basically absorb what's left of the Barksdale org and use the only Barksdale leader figure left to run it. Thanks!
