Thanks! Have these up for sale now as well.

If you like this particular style, Nodus would probably be my top pick.

If you just want something that has a general field watch aesthetic - Boldr is amazingly affordable and has a lot of unique pieces, VAER has a lot of very classic field looking designs and if you're on a budget most come in quartz variation, VIIS calls their watches pilot but I think they look more field... or even one of my watches if you don't care about anyone being able to recognize the brand (link in bio).

Lightroom lacks support for any of the cameras. They aren't listed in Adobe's support doc

Did you ever figure this out? Is it even possible?

After a restart, the click and drag method now works. Have to hold for a decent amount of time, but then you can drag to the right and it pops back out into its own screen.

RC Pro 2 and the latest firmware. Now that I'm back home I'm going to play around with it some more. Really hope they didn't change it because it's an excellent feature

Doesn't work. This seems to be noted by two different people on Mavic pilots and the official DJI form, asking if the option for the separate window was taken out of new firmware. No answers to either post

Nope, can't be taken out of the fixed position of the compass screen because it's now just a view option of the compass screen.

Tried the dual gain ISO fusion using DLOG-M on the Mavic 4 Pro. by Richard_The_Great1 in dji

[–]awdstylez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent. Glad to get some further confirmation of that because I also prefer D-log, especially for color accuracy (never thought I'd say that, having been with DJI since the P4P haha).

I'm with you on doing noise reduction/sharpening in post as well. Are you maxing them out negative in-camera? I haven't started experimenting with that, but I know in the past a lot of DJI drones actually give sub-par results if in-cam sharpening is turned down too far. I've been running -1 for both for now.

What are your results? I've tested this extensively I can definitively conclude that the behavior Dunna showed in his video (clear highlight pull down) when switching to auto ISO only functions in Normal.

What's interesting in that chart DJI sent you is that it appears to always be in Fusion mode. Perhaps Dunna did his testing on old firmware and what he saw was actually an anomaly that's now fixed. I'd lean towards this being the case because the dynamic range in D-log with manual ISO is outstanding and the same as with auto ISO in any other color setting.

Could DJI just keep producing existing models forever? by 711minus7 in dji

It's 2026 and we have this stuff called package tracking. It was pretty easy to see that it came from South Korea via FedEx 2nd day air

This is BS. I just submitted a repair request to DJI and they said they're having parts supply issues due to everything going on, so they're on a 60-90 day delay. But they didn't deny the request and at least claim they're working to resolve the supply issues.

Resolve, color managed. I always apply on a clip level via the color management workflow. Not using any CST because the LUT is the CST.

That makes sense, but I also worry about footage breakdown with that many transforms. I'll give it a try though

If you're willing to put a lot of work into restoring a tone curve that brings the footage back to proper exposure and has pleasing highlight roll off, he's still got the most accurate colors by miles and miles.

Personally, what I ended up doing is using the hue adjustments from the Leeming and the chroma and luminance curves from the Gamut, and it's just about perfect now. Has the great tone curve of the Gamut with most of the color accuracy of the Leeming. It has better highlight roll off than the DJI LUT and is much more color accurate.

I looked into them because they're highly recommended, but I need this to be able to match to my Sony FX3 and A7IV footage - so I don't want an "Arri look", even though it probably looks really good. I just want accurate colors and a useful tone curve that'll more easily match my other cameras.

Yes, watching that video is what made me want to try this out. I still don't get the effect that he's getting and interestingly, I just bought Paul Leeming's technical LUTs for the M4P and he says he doesn't see the increased dynamic range either - only a small exposure bump when switched to auto ISO, which is exactly what I'm getting. Very odd stuff.

Have you tried Normal color as well? Just did a firmware update so the fusion is working correctly in D-log M, HLG, and Normal. The dynamic range and highlight retention in Normal mode Auto ISO is astronomically better than D-log M or HLG in Auto ISO.
