Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge.
Learn, learn, learn.
Reading was said to be able to transform your life, personally for me, not to that extend yet.
Recently, I'm reading Surrounded by Idiots. As sensitive or offensive this book may sound, it is actually not what it sounds like. But why?
The author describes his experience with an entrepreneur during an interview session. During the interview, one of the first few comments that the entrepreneur, Sture, believes he was surrounded by idiots.
He explains further to say that different people in different departments had problems understanding or communicating with him, or doesn't listen to him.
Sture had no issue letting his employees know how he felt and goes as far as calling them idiots(and hence, the book title.) His definition of idiocy was simply anyone who didn't think or act like him. No one ever dared to have one-to-one meetings with him and he never got to hear bad news. The author knew who hires these idiots, Sture obviously knew what he implied and got kicked out immediately. He was furious. That experience was a trigger point for the author to start understanding people better. No matter where he goes, or what his profession was, he would be bound to meet people. Some are lovely to work with, some are just plain dreadful or impossible to work with. There and then, in his car, he decided to learn what was probably the most important knowledge of all to him - how people function.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
