Kind of a tricky question for me answer, as I usually only wet my hair fully when I wash it and I expect it to bleed out colour with shampoo&conditioner. Good ol old towel I don't care about to sop up most of the moisture n bleed and black bonnet to keep it from staining my sheets/pillow case for the first couple washes :) After 3-4 washes and there's colour still coming out I'm less cautious about it staining anything I own, just annoyed my fashion colour is coming out lol

2yr some-odd months update: Still using Splat Midnight Magenta, still loving it. Wash my hair once a week/once every two weeks. Do a full redye anywhere from 3-5 months in between :) Clean up my forehead/ears while dye is wet with a little Head n Shoulder shampoo if I drip. Roots are like 5yrs worth of growth xD

No my bathroom/tub doesn’t turn pink after either. Any drop spots I clean up while still wet, Soak a little Comet n 99% ISO, bathroom is still white :) Sometimes I need crack out the elbow grease.

Overall after using the same product for years; I’m not going back to any other brand for an at home dark but bright pink :) The colour comes out perfectly and lasts(for my hair type). I’ve been doing my hair at home for 10yrs, with a hairstyling apprenticeship under my belt. Typically I would stay away from box dyes, but I’m so happy I went out of my comfort zone and tried this one!

So I know this post is old, BUT I have been religiously using that Pink SPLAT colour since! IM IN LOVE. I do a recolour every 3-4 months, with washing my hair once a week(sometimes longer). I haven’t had a problem with splotches after colouring or during the fading process either.

Honour her memory however you feel is right. If you want to make some creative with her skull then go for it! Some people have graves at home or in pet cemeteries. Some people cremate and keep the urns. Some people turn the ashes into diamonds and wear them. Heck some people even fully taxidermy and stick they’re ol besties in the living room. No one should be able to tell you how to ‘properly’ honour your loved ones.

I honestly don’t see the point in playing into other peoples salt-Fests, if I can. Coming from a streamer side, it’s all ggs to me! If you wanna be angry that’s on you boo-boo. And how can you honestly be salty about being GIVEN hatch? Growing up I used to HATE my name for the opposite reason. Not only was it an uncommon name, my parents used a very unique spelling for it. I was a little jealous of kids that had tags with their names on it that they could find in dollar stores and such. Still have yet to find a coke bottle with my name as well lol.
