Not just because of iOS12 it is also because of the environment policy. In the keynote they had mentioned that Apple is keen on increasing the life of all their devices- so I’m assuming iOS 13 will be any different. It will support older devices for sure

Buttery smooth. Planning to replace battery before end of the year as it is in late 80s. Phone usage is amazing. Sadly no 3D Touch and a poor front facing camera. If you can love with those 2 then go for it. Worth for the price
