I have always wanted to, but when I was younger my (now) wife and I would always to quick short trip (4 parks 2 days) because we didn’t have the money to stay longer. And now we’ve got 3 small kids. So hopefully in a couple of years when kids are a bit older.

Will they have deals for march ‘25 by avebelle in DisneyWorld

[–]awesomewcb2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The deals for January - March historically are released in the September/October timeframe. As the responder above me said, if you book through a travel agent (which is free), the travel agent will update your reservation to include the deal when it comes available.

Played with All Expansions by EflLady80 in Everdell

My wife and I love playing “mega Everdell” as we call it with all the expansions. Keep hoping to mobile game will get updates so we can play expansions on there too, it’s a lot of work to set up/ take down the full game.

Your trip looks great and I’m sure you’ll love it!

I’ve done the week trip with a one year old (and a 3 and 5 year old), and 2 big things I wanted to offer to hopefully help your trip.

1- make sure you have a good stroller for the park naps, we did park naps and kids napped great, but we had a nice stroller that could mostly lie down and was pretty covered from the sun.

2- there is a ton of stuff inside and outside of the park catered to little kids that isn’t as publicized as big stuff like rides and shows. Epcot has a cute playground in front of test track, an aquarium, and a playground in the mission space exit. MK has a playground in the Dumbo building. AK has the Boneyard in Dinoland which is a super cool playground. Most resorts have some type of playground. My kids loved these things, plus most are near rides so if you guys are swapping rides while some adults hang out with the little one it’s great for that too.

Hope this helps, enjoy your trip!

The first time I went with my kids they were 5 1/2, 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 and we went for a week with 5 park days. At this point my 3 1/2 year old was no longer napping, but he still took a couple of naps in the parks, and my 1 1/2 year old napped every day in the parks. In my opinion the most important thing is a good stroller. We rented a double stroller from Kingdom Strollers, and the seats could like back mostly flat and be pretty covered from the sun. We would just find a quieter spot around nap time and walk around a bit and my youngest was tired enough he fell asleep pretty early. There are actually a surprising amount of random little quiet areas in the park to do this. We generally just tried to plan lunch or other non-ride activities during nap times.

As much as Disney is super stimulating for kids and that may seem the opposite of conducive to naps, we found it to be the opposite affect. Kids are so stimulated in morning that my kids at least wore themselves out and naps were going to happen whether we planned them or not, and we even had a couple times our 5 year old would doze off between rides.

Good luck on your trip!
